PlanMatch is an insurance discovery and matching platform operated by independent financial advisors. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the PlanMatch swipe app.
We collect the following personal information: (a) Your name, email address, and mobile phone number — collected when you submit the contact form; (b) Your swipe responses — which insurance topics you expressed interest in or rejected; (c) Technical information — your approximate location, device type, and IP address for security purposes.
Your personal information is used to: match you with appropriate insurance plans based on your responses; allow your financial advisor to contact you with personalized recommendations; improve the accuracy of our matching algorithm; comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Your information is shared only with the financial advisor whose link you used to access PlanMatch, and their immediate team members. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing purposes.
We retain your personal information for up to 2 years from the date of collection, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. After this period, your data is permanently deleted from our systems.
Under the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173), you have the right to: (a) Access — request a copy of your personal data; (b) Correction — request correction of inaccurate data; (c) Erasure — request deletion of your personal data; (d) Object — object to the processing of your data; (e) Portability — receive your data in a portable format. PlanMatch uses only essential cookies required for the app to function (session management). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the app. Continued use of PlanMatch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
